5 WAYS TO KILL FLEAS NATURALLY ON YOUR DOG
One thing I hate using to kill fleas are toxic chemicals.
I wouldn't use them on my skin so why would I use them on a dog!!
I honestly cannot remember when I last saw fleas on any of my dogs. I think good nutrition goes a long way to help repel fleas as well as good gut health.
Just recently I had the pleasure of caring for a beautiful dachshund called Ruby. Ruby lives in a beautiful location in the south of the UK. Her garden is full of wildlife, Rabbits, Squirrels, Pheasants, Foxes and much more.
Day 2 of caring for Ruby I found two fleas. Day 5 I found many more. So I sat down and removed 13 by hand! Most were too fast for me :)
Now Ruby actually has Frontline Flea treatments (Yes all those Toxic Chemicals) and it didn't help her.
Luckily I was carrying some Peppermint Essential Oil in my bag. I put together a solution and bathed her in it. I let her "Air" dry afterwards.
Then to search her all over again. Those little blighters were now starting to walk around her fur a little slower which made it a lot easier to remove the fleas.
I removed another 12 off her.
So just remember there are ways to successfully kill those fleas without using harmful toxic chemicals on you dog.
Tomorrow Ruby will get another Peppermint Oil solution bath.
This is just one way of safely killing off those fleas.
